Films & Animations

While something I seldom do, it is something I enjoy. Years ago I used to do a lot of animation and probably wanted it to be involved with my career (at least more involved than it is now). Many of those animations leave much to be desired if I'm going to be honest, and most of them I will not be showing on here (However, if you feel so compelled to see them, my 'adscomics' YouTube channel has most of them.) As of now, most of what I animate are my pixel art pieces.

Lucid

This was a senior film I wrote and directed along with a friend of mine in high school for my school's theatre department, the "Raider Players". Senior year was my best and favorite year in high school social wise, so I wanted to end it on a high note.

Bump in the Night

I took a summer program before enrolling in SCAD called 'Rising Stars'. We spent five weeks on campus and took two college level classes. One of the classes I took was Film (It was my second choice, as I wanted to take sound design, but I was okay with this still). One of our first major projects was to make a mood film that would bring out an emotion. I chose horror.

How 2 Inertia

If you couldn't tell, this was a joke project. This was made for my physics class senior year when we had to make a video showing us performing events involving Inertia (like pulling a table cloth off a table but keep all the dishes intact). I took this assignment a step further. This is one of my favorite projects because of the huge response it got in my school. It was probably my defining moment of Senior and likely High School as a whole. This, along with Galastar, became my high school legacy. To this day, my physics teacher still shows this to his students as an good example.

Super Goomba Adventures

You may have watched this in the "Games" tab. I decided to put it here as well as the trailer was an animation project for a class. We had to make an animation in After Effects, so I chose to make a revision of Super Goomba Adventure's opening sequence. It got a very good response from my fellow students and is, in my opinion, my most well executed sprite animation. (If you want to see my less good, and more cringey animations, check out my Newgrounds)
