Galastar

While not my first game, Galastar is my first officially distributed game and is on the App Store. The game is a shoot'em up based slightly off of Galaga and various other shoot'em ups I've played. The game has a very gradual learning curve, starting off very easy in the beginning and gradually becomes increasingly more difficult until it becomes nearly overwhelming. The game's art style is a mixture between old and new art styles in videogames, giving it a sense of uniqueness from other classic-style games.

Goomba Adventures

Goomba Adventures is one of my earlier games made after seeing videos of a mario fan game only starring a goomba instead (look up YoshiFanGM). I liked the idea so much that I made my own. This was one of my first major game projects. This game was what gave me a reputation at my school of being a game developer.

Super Goomba Adventures

Super Goomba Adventures is a sequel to Goomba Adventures (although there is a Goomba Adventures 2, but it's nothing special). It was made primarily for a school project. The gameplay was heavily revamped and had more mario-like mechanics like goal gates from super mario world and power ups. A mostly for fun project

Proto-Galastar 1

Galastar originally had 3 previous games before it, which are dubbed the "Proto-Galastar" games. This game was an extremely simple shoot'em up where you moved only left and right and shot enemies that shot back at you from the top of the screen. It was one of my earlier games (I made it in 2010) and slowly grew to become the game on the app store now.

Proto-Galastar 2

This would be the (obvious) sequel to Proto-Galastar 1. The gameplay was significantly different to the last one however since you can move in all directions in this game. Although you moved rather slow. I based it on a 1942 game made in the same Engine I used to make this game (Game Maker).

Proto-Galastar 3

Proto-Galastar 3 was the final of the Proto-Galastar games before I moved off of GameMaker and went to GameSalad to make Galastar on the iPhone. This was even more different than the previous two games. You could move in all 4 directions in a giant playing field with space stations all around, all of which had to be destroyed in order to advance to the next stage. After this game was when I made Galastar for mobile devices
